Santa's Mailbox

On Friday, November 15th a special mailbox will appear at Central Park! Children can mail their letters straight to the North Pole to Santa’s Workshop! Send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your letter to Santa and he will personally answer each letter. The last day for Santa’s Mailbox is December 19th!

Festival of Lights

Ardmore’s joyful 1.5 mile drive-thru Festival of Lights display located in Regional Park opens Saturday, November 23rd following the Chigger Chase and closes Monday, December 30th. With over 150 displays, the Festival of Lights is one of the largest holiday light displays in Southern Oklahoma. Crank up the Christmas tunes and visit our sparkling winter wonderland! Donations accepted at the end of the Festival of Lights.

Jolly Trolley

Climb aboard our private Jolly Trolley and step into the world of your favorite Christmas stories! The night begins with hot chocolate and cookies around Central Park’s Christmas Tree as we patiently await the magical ride. Once aboard the Jolly Trolley, we will whisk away to the Festival of Lights and enter the Winter Wonderland of over 150 displays of twinkling lights with story-telling along the way. The Jolly Trolley will return to Central Park. Be sure to purchase tickets in advance, they won’t last long! You may purchase tickets online www.ardmorecity.org or in person at Ardmore Parks and Recreation.

How to Get Your Wild Game from Field to Table

Hunting and an appreciation of the abundant game our lands provide are embedded in our lives. Bringing the gifts of our hunt from the field to the table can be one of the most rewarding experiences in outdoor recreation. This workshop will demonstrate the skills necessary to bring native game from the field to culinary masterpiece. Your fellow outdoorsmen, Noble Research Institute consultants, will demonstrate proper post-harvest animal and meat handling for popular species of large and small game. The workshop will conclude with a presentation of favorite recipes in a wild-beast feast. Come prepared to taste what nature provides and share your own stories and recipes with fellow hunters.
