Creating the Hero: The Graphic Art of Michael Schwab

Born in Oklahoma, Michael Schwab now lives and works in Northern California. Mr. Schwab has established a national reputation as one of American’s leading graphic artists. He has created national award-winning logos and posters for a remarkable list of prestigious clients, including Apple, Amtrak, The Golden Gate National Parks, Major League Baseball, Muhammad Ali, Nike, Pebble Beach, Polo Ralph Lauren, San Francisco Opera, Sundance Film Festival and Wells Fargo, among others.

Santa's Mailbox

November 15th, 2019 6:00 PM - December 19th, 2019 - 11:45 PM
On Friday, November 15th a special mailbox will appear at Central Park! Children can mail their letters straight to the North Pole to Santa’s Workshop! Send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your letter to Santa and he will personally answer each letter. The last day for Santa’s Mailbox is December 19th!

Festival of Lights

Ardmore’s joyful 1.5 mile drive-thru Festival of Lights display located in Regional Park opens Saturday, November 23rd following the Chigger Chase and closes Monday, December 30th. With over 150 displays, the Festival of Lights is one of the largest holiday light displays in Southern Oklahoma. Crank up the Christmas tunes and visit our sparkling winter wonderland! Donations accepted at the end of the Festival of Lights.

Texas Boys' Choir

For more than 70 years, Texas Boys Choir has been instrumental in instilling a love of artistic expression and a desire to succeed in its young members. Today, Texas Center for Arts Academics is a strong voice in the North Texas arts community, and an active advocate for providing young people the means and opportunity to explore and excel in their lives. Since 1946, the mission of Texas Boys Choir has been to develop personal excellence & inspire a lifelong passion for choral artistry. Boys in grades 3-12 sing in treble, mixed, & men’s choirs under the direction of Artistic Director Dr. D. Jason Bishop. This project is generously funded by Mid-America Arts Alliance, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Oklahoma Arts Council.
