The Mercy Train

← Back to History & Culture

In September of 1915, the Mercy Train brought supplies and emergency personnel to Ardmore following a tanker car explosion that destroyed most of downtown, and killed 50 people. And after a 50 year stay at a nearby park  the train has been fully restored and returned to the Sante Fe train depot  where it first arrived over 100 years ago.
