In carrying out our mission of encouraging informed and active participation in government, the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Ardmore Young Professionals, and Leadership Greater Ardmore Alumni are again providing a Candidate Forum Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 6:00 pm at the Ardmore Convention Center. 

The focus of this forum is to provide information on those candidates running for office from Southern Oklahoma. All candidates that will represent Southern Oklahoma have been invited to participate, include those running for:
State Senate District 14
State House of Representatives District 48 
State House of Representatives District 49
Carter County Commissioner District 3

The format of the forum will allow the candidates, by party affiliation, to provide a brief statement and answer a series of questions devised by a non-partisan committee and make a closing remark. Following the forum, the candidates will be available to meet and greet attendees, answer questions and distribute information. 

This event is free to attend and open to the public.
